Ron Gilbert, who wrote much of the original code for the SCUMM system and several of its games, commented that the ScummVM team “should get the Nobel Prize or something for what they’ve done. Probably not in chemistry. Maybe peace. Nobel Prize in Peace. There would be a lot fewer wars if people played more point-and-click adventure games.
